Sysinternals Suite is a suite of useful and efficient tools for configuring, optimizing, testing, identifying and troubleshooting Windows operating systems. This program has provided useful tools for almost every subject in Windows. For example, there is a small tool for managing startup programs that can remove unused programs from the startup process. We have a very professional and efficient ProcessExplorer tool that can literally anchor running processes.
The features that Windows Task Manager provides by default are not even 10 percent of the program’s capabilities. This tool has various options for forcibly stopping or killing processes that are not similar to the Windows task manager. Here you can see the resources consumed by each process, including memory, processor, network (download / upload) and more. Processes are grouped. For example, in Chrome browser, each tab is considered a separate process, this program displays all chrome-related processes in a parent and child tree view.
Sometimes large installation files such as games, Visual Studio, Office, etc. are in the middle of the job. In many cases, the parent process is also on hold due to blocked access to the child process. In this case, you can easily close or release the child process using this tool to continue installation. This was just one of the applications of this tool. There are other advanced features such as displaying the threads of each process, the amount of processing and consuming each, the stack of Windows system methods, and many more that are used by Windows and Windows professionals. Developers.
This is just a brief mention of the capabilities of one of the tools in the Sysinternals Suite. Other tools such as displaying and managing disks, managing Windows logs and events, checking for blue screen errors, displaying system information, working with the registry, displaying Windows objects, working with hex files, monitoring processes, displaying NTFS drives, Windows page scripting tools. There are startups, stop-and-go windows services, and many more that do not fit this description.
